Tucked in the winding alleys of Vieux Nice, just behind the Cathedral, Casa Rosa is a compact yet character-rich pied-à-terre designed by Arteficius Design Studio.

Drawing inspiration from the vivid façades of the Old Town and the warm sunlight of the Côte d’Azur, this studio apartment is defined by its peach-toned palette, salmon Moroccan zellige tiles, oriental arches, and golden niches. The architectural language blends Mediterranean charm with subtle exotic references, creating an atmosphere that is both vibrant and serene.

The 27sqm studio underwent a complete renovation, transforming it into an all-year-round boutique rental, per the client’s requirements. The design now includes:

• A living area with a sofa bed for versatile lounging and sleeping

• A cozy sleep nest for restful sleep

• A bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and sink, and a separate WC

• A laundry room with a walk-in closet
   

Design features were retained and enhanced to preserve the apartment’s character, including:

• Original hexagonal tommettes in terracotta in the living space

• New burgundy hexagonal cement tiles and salmon-colored zellige tiles in the sleeping nest and bathroom area

• A bespoke kitchen designed by Arteficius and meticulously handmade by our craftsmen in Italy, adding a refined touch to this intimate retreat

• Golden niches, oriental arches, and light linen curtains framing different spaces throughout

• Vintage lighting, paintings, and mirrors carefully selected from auction houses across the south of France, lending the space a sense of history and timelessness

• An eclectic mix of elegant contemporary Italian design sourced through our trusted network of suppliers

• Accessories and decorative accents from Arteficius.com, showcasing Arteficius' commitment to curation, craftsmanship, and aesthetic harmony
