Arteficius Design Studio is a high-end interior design practice, specializing in renovation, interior styling, and curated sourcing of design pieces for a discerning international clientele.

Active between London, Nice, and Milan, Arteficius blends Italian craftsmanship, Mediterranean warmth, and contemporary elegance to create spaces that are functional, refined, and emotionally resonant.

Founded in London in 2014 under the name Matter of Stuff, the studio was rebranded as Arteficius in 2023 under the sole direction of Simona Auteri.

With more than ten years of experience in interior architecture, furniture design, and materials curation, Arteficius has developed a distinctive approach rooted in storytelling, materiality, and a deep sensitivity to context.

​

Alongside its interior design work, Arteficius is also able to deliver full architectural services in France — in collaboration with Studio 101, an architectural firm where Simona Auteri serves as Associate Architect and Managing Director. This synergy enables us to manage projects involving structural modifications, large-scale renovations over 150 m², planning applications, as well as site coordination and construction management, ensuring regulatory compliance and excellence in delivery.

The studio has advised on sustainable materials for architecture firms, hotels, and cultural institutions — collaborating notably with the Victoria and Albert Museum, Sketch London, Ferrari, Kering, Argent LLP, Fora, The Office Group, and Anabela Chan Joaillerie.

Arteficius works closely with master craftspeople, auction houses, and a trusted European network of partners to deliver interiors that are both thoughtfully designed and deeply personal.
